How will SWACA use my donation?
For each £1 you donate, 100% is spent support those at risk from domestic abuse.
In 2020, we received 2151 referrals for support… that’s 41 each and every week. Right now we’re supporting more than 500 women, young people and children, all of whom have experienced domestic abuse.
All of your donation goes towards providing life changing support to people just like this.
How is that possible?
Well, due to the way we’re funded, all of our day-to-day costs (so that’s administration costs, utility bills, rent etc.) are covered by our regular funding partners. These include the Local Authority, the NHS and a range of fantastic grant-making trusts.
That’s why we’re able to all of your donation to provide support, counselling and refuge to those in need.
